My Story:
Donovon graduated from Oregon State University in 2022 with a BFA in Graphic Design. He continued working for the school as a Student Instructor of screen printing at the Craft Center, and as an Assistant at the Integrative Biology Dept. where he designed online study tools for students. During this time, he was enrolled and taking classes for a graduate degree in Instructional Design, but he found his true passion in animation and storytelling. ​
Donovon decided to move home to Sacramento in 2023 to pursue this different path. He found work as a Graphic Designer for Creative Impressions Sacramento (a screen printing studio), but on the side, he honed his skills in animation. Over the next year and a half, Donovon took 3 animation courses, read textbooks in animation and film, and practiced drawing. Also, he received the People's Choice Award in the Magnum Opus show for Chameleon at the Sacramento Fine Art's Center. Outside this Donovon coached youth rugby and played for a D2 Men's club in Sacramento.​
In January 2024, Donovon wanted to expand his network of people in animation. He decided to pack up and move to LA where he is currently enjoying the lovely weather and creative energy.
